Monica is a graduate of The Victorian College of Arts. She has worked with most local companies including ABC TV & Radio, Barron Films (major role on Ship to Shore 3), Deckchair, Effie Crump, Theatre Zart and Barking Gecko. She is also an accomplished voice-over artist and a Golden Stylus award winner in '99. Her one women play ”The Insect Spinster” has had two sellout Perth seasons and toured to La Mama and the Hong Kong Fringe Festival. 2000 highlights include “A Strong Left Hand” and “Spontaneous Insanity” both at the Rechabites Hall. In 2001 her directorial credits include “The Hand and Other Creeping Tales” at the Blue Room. She finished 2000 narrating the City of Perth Nativity and began 2001 performing in the Perth International Arts Festival production of ”Dennis Cleveland - A Talk Show Opera”. She can be heard every Tuesday on RTRFM breakfast presenting Home on the Range with Monica Main.
