Eva, an American journalist comes to Belgrade to visit an old friend. There on the exotic boundary between East and West, she becomes entangled in a love triangle, between a doctor and a playboy. As each man tries to outdo the other for her affections, Eva makes note of the aspects of the culture, customs and manners as East and West collide, each trying to find their own cultural identity and love.
